From 29th of April till the 3rd of May the second edition of the Green Week will take place!
This week, focused on sustainability, many study associations are organising different activities surrounding this topic. As S.V.N.B. Hooke we are also organising many activities this week, so make sure not to miss a single one!
Monday
Planet A Foods lunch lecture
During this lunch lecture, organised together with S.V. LIFE, Planet A Foods will tell us more about their work and their company. Their company is focused on changing the food industry to save our planet, using proprietary technology to ferment plant-based ingredients to sustainably produce the foods we love. Vegan Cooking Workshop
Transposon and S.o.S. are together organising a free vegan cooking workshop! During this workshop you will cook different meals in teams, and enjoy them all together! Sign up via this link.
Tuesday
Plant Cuttings Drinks
On Tuesday we will have very green themed drinks togther with S.V. LIFE: Plant Cuttings Drinks! (Stekjes Borrel!). You can bring your own plant cuttings, swap with others and get new plant babies! No worries if you do not have any cuttings yourself, there will be plenty plants for everyone. You can order simply meals for the drinks here.
Wednesday
Sustainability Debate
On Wednesday 1st of May the second edition of the Sustainability Debate will take place, with the theme: ‘Circular Economy’. Different experts from different fields will go into discussions together and share their view on this topic. Interested to know who? Check out this link! Friday
Sustainability Fair
Friday we will close off the Green Week with a Sustainability Fair in Mekelpark, where many different local sustainable initiatives, companies and organisations have gathered. Walk around the fair, enjoy free drinks, join workshops and talk to inspiring people! For example Meatable, the Climate Action Team of the TU Delft and 015 Duurzaam will take part in this fair. Make sure to come by between 15:00 and 19:00!
