Career activities

S.V.N.B. Hooke organises activities to give students a good insight into the carreer paths available to them. Below you can find some the activities that we organise where companies and students can meet.

Lunch lectures

Every couple of weeks we organise a lunch lecture to introduce students to interesting career opportunities. The visiting party, often a company, will give a talk of around 30 minutes about their work and their relevance to the Nanobiology workfield. Students get to ask questions and interact during the lecture, so they can get a good insight into the company giving the lecture.

Magazine mRNA

S.V.N.B. Hooke makes and publishes a magazine, the mRNA. This magazine is published twice a year, with 300 hard copies personally sent to students, research groups and partners. Next to a mix of articles about our association and interesting scientific topics the magazine contains interesting information about career opportunities and internships. Companies can also place an article in our magazine.
